Steamachine is a metal band formed in 2020 by Krystian “Juras” Jurkiewicz (guitar, vocals) and Konrad “Gałązka” Gałązka (guitar). Their music, influenced by groove metal and thrash metal, quickly made an impact on the Polish music scene, leading to their debut concert in July 2021 at Club Las in Olsztyn. From the start, the band stood out for its creativity and experimentation with different genres, giving their work a unique character.
In early 2022, they released their debut album Arktyczny ogień (Arctic Fire), which combined elements of groove and thrash metal, marking a strong beginning. Despite lineup changes that same year, Steamachine continued to evolve musically, releasing the singles Bloodstream and Koszmar (Nightmare), which brought fresh energy to their repertoire.
In May 2023, the band released the EP The Book Of War, which innovatively addressed the theme of global wars. The album bridged groove metal with metalcore and featured experimental elements such as violins, piano, and synthesizers, highlighting the band’s musical versatility.
August 2023 saw the release of their album City Of Death, which delves into the dark aspects of human psychology. The album blends groove metal with elements of nu metal, deathcore, and death metal, creating a diverse and experimental sound. Tracks like Monsterland and Acrobats Of The Abyss showcase the band’s musical skills and deep reflections on human nature.
In 2024, Steamachine continues its creative journey with a new EP Post-apocalyptic Silence, marking another step in their musical evolution. The themes of post-apocalyptic survival and personal transformation are central to the lyrics, while the innovative approach to composition distinguishes the band’s latest work.
Since their inception, Steamachine has aimed to push genre boundaries, creating a unique fusion of styles that evolves with each release.
